Did you deciede on a scope or peep's. I just picked up a 2.5 leopold ultralight in a trade. I think it is going on one of my mounties or maybe on something I picked up in the trade along with the scope a 223 rifle lenght well 16.5 inch contender barrel. i'm leaning towards peep but reserve the right to do a 180 on it at any time. ;D

So I wet sanded tonight and then hit it again a few coats. Then my wife sends my youngest son out to get something out of the car. Instead of going out the front door the kid goes out through the garage and opens the overhead door letting in a ton of cool moist air not 5 min after I just got done spraying. And my wife doesn't understand why I blew my stack about it.

Well Done. Merry X-mas to yourself. Just don't let santa see it, I have found that overweight older bearded guys love mounties. Don't leave it next to the cookies.

Took it out this past fri and ran a few through it. It functioned flawlessly and did catch the eye of a couple shooters there at the range too. When I first got the rifle it did not feed 100% of the time but once I resolved the missing cartridge guide spring and screw, and cleaned/polished all the internal parts, it feels like new.

Wait a minute! You can't shoot that ! It's too purty. You might scratch the stock.
