I had put a new serpentine belt and pulley's on it about 3,000 miles before I sold it so all that should be good along with the alternator. Other than that their isn't much else that can go wrong with it. All the sensors had also been replace not all that long before that so the old truck should be good to go for a long time now. I really liked that truck and Donnie and I put a lot of miles on it on fly fishing trips around Missouri and Kansas along with some quail shoots.

Back on the last page I rambaled on about finding a Piston for an old tractor, well I did buy it and it came a coulple days ago but don't know when I will feel man enough to carey it out to the shop, man it weights more than most motors today. I'm just waiting for someone to visit then head them out twards the shop and then say "hey grab that box will ya?" It looks very harmless LOL.

The pulley was the one that the book called for Bounce. I just paid the garage to install it and it didn't look any different than the one that was on there originally when I bought it which the mechanic said was probably original. Glad I don't live closer, I would have more problems with my hernia than I do now. I go in and get that fixed here shortly so hopefully I won't be having any more problems with it in the future.

Bill I will haul that piston to the shop with the help of Sir. Willam, I have learned in my old age not to grab and go with the hevie things anymore, I use carts, trailers, loader, Cherrypicker like I never use to ever think of All so jacks. Hevey stuff and I don't get along together anymore and the steel parts I have in me makes it harder to handel as well. It is though a real suprise just what that piston weighs, several times what one would ever think. Would make a very secure paper weight LOL. What I need is a fork lift one of them would be handy as hell for me and this old iron hobby.

Sir William had a flat tire today drivers side rear, but it took a 20p spike to do it LOL. I did get it patched and back on. My gole was to make Bill's tires last till fall and they just did lol. But I wanted new ones but bill has such big tires on it the man had none on hand so I had to order some and big is costly too at 106 each. But I did get nearly 7000 miles on your old ones bill and the front one's likely could go for more but I will get two on the back next week & the front ones soon as I can aford them..... maybe another 4000? lol. Oh yea the diver door handle broke off in my hand to the otherday and that was a blistering $20 bucks instaled.

So do I Jabba. My new truck went on a trip to Farmingdale SD so I could go shoot my new .308 700 VSF I have been building up. Put a H.S. Precision stock and a MK 4 Tactical scope on it and needed to shoot it and see how it was doing. Pulled into the parking area and got out my rifle and set up a target and started sighting it in. Went back to the truck a couple times to get things and on the last time the truck looked funny. I took a closer look and dam the right rear tire was flat. Learned by reading the Book where the jack and spare was and how to get at the spare and with a bit of cussing finally got it changed. While I was taking off the tire I seen something stuck in the tread. Thats when I found the arrow head stuck in the tire. Flint arrow heads are hard on tires. Took it in and got it fixed and the guy at the tire shop said I should only use it for a spare as he really doubted it would last long running on the highway for very long. He wanted $150 apiece for new tires. Bounce, when you bought the truck the tires were shot. I am totally surprised they even lasted that long. Knowing how bad your knees are I wouldn't drive that truck around the block with them on for fear I would have to change one. But then again I had to change a tire on my new truck and figured it wouldn't be a problem for about 40,000 but an arrow head got the better of me so go figure.
