Still holding AIR Now that I find hard to believe. s badly weather checked as they are I am totally surprised. I wouldn't drive it further than around the yard as I hate walking long distances. Better make sure the spare is up and the jack is close at hand.

And doing a bit of cycling along with it. ::)Had to get home somehow. By the way, have you ever been passed by your rear wheel while driving down the road? In the words of Jeff Foxworthy, If you have you might of found your vehicle by mowing the front yard. Nope Red doesn't have a thing on you. ;D ;D ;D I think you have tried to outdo Dean. Came up short but tried hard. I remember the time that Dean got a flat. He opened the trunk to change the tire and the tire he was going to put on had fallen through the hole in the trunk floor that had rusted out and drug on the highway till there wasn't a tire left on the rim. He called for help and Jim S took him out a tire and rim to put on and Dean W traded him pie and coffee for it and then didn't have enough money to pay for it and Jim S ended up paying for it himself. Of course along that same line I had a 76 Chevy Blazer that I took Bounce hunting in. The floor had rusted away to the point that there was not anything holding the seat in so I took out the seat and covered the floor with old road sign's screwed to whatever would take a screw and then covered that up with rugs. Bounce would open the door and get in and set on the floor in front of WHERE the back seat was supposed to be. He thought that was just the ticket for a hunting vehicle. He will probably get along with Sir William just fine. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I had an old 77 blazer that was so rusty the tailgate held the bed up. If you opened the tailgate, the bed fell down around the wheels.

Watch those Tires Bounce, they can look good and be bad?? I bought a 94 Chrysler Councours for the wife last fall for $200. Great looking and running but had some front end problems. And Good looking tires? I bought it because the owner(my son) and I thought it had a bad half shaft. And I knew I could replace it for about a $120 & a alignment. I jacked it up and could find nothing mechanically wrong. Put 4 new 225 X60X16" tires on it to the tune of $459 and it has no problems now(did this last saturday. Had belts broke in one front & one back tire. So they can look good and still cause problems! Now Jo won't even let me drive it? She's one happy camper! Funny she used to make fun of me liking the bigger luxurious cars
I once bought her a Blazer(what she wanted) and me a Chrysler, when the grandaughter came along she decided it would be easier to get the baby & things in and out of the Chrysler, and I drove the Blazer as long as we owned it?

Well Sir Willam 111 craped out on me today, Just when I was convinced I reay got a deal from bill. 2000 miles and has used no oil and has ben working to perfection It I was on my way to Center to licence the Explore , 2 bikes and 3 trailers, old Willam lost all oil presure and started to lose power, the motor temp did not rise. But had to thumb my way into Center and Ask Kenny to pick him up. I got my stuff licenced and got DD out of fence fixing to drive me home. Thankyou DD

Sounds like the oil pup gave it up. Probably not going to be a hard fix if the crank did spin a bearing or something. Hope that's all it is. I have seen that type of engine do that before. Keep me informed as I really liked that truck.

Stoped by the Center Garage today and motor was out and apart. Oil pump was the culprit, the shaft stoped it's proper function, sounded like new pump & crankshaft kit. 1st time I lost an oil pump in any motor. But then I have had far less FORDS than anything LOL. Looks like one may have to get use to them though?
