The facts here are the pitbulls were let out one night and animals were killed by them that night the exact number is not known. We never had problems with the labs here. Those pitbulls according to their owners are not dangerous. Ya right. What is the point of having a killer dog? I can only think of one. Labs are hbunting dogs, bred for hunting. What are pit bulls bred for? Killing - and killing only.

Do you reckon the Pit owners have something to "hide" or "protect"? They are awfully popular with the methmaking crowd, at least, around here. Last summer, we had two human fatalities from pitbull attacks, right here in town. Legislation is pending, but dog owners are fighting tooth and nail to keep right on, keeping on. The ordinance is considering making a mandatory $100,000 liability insurance policy, neutering, and charging the owners with ADW if someone is harmed, all of which only works AFTER someone is hurt......... I don't really know what to think of it. Personally, I like happy, loving dogs, like beagles and hounds........

Where do you get this stuff. Its very clear to me you know nothing about Pit Bulls...You mean to tell me that no dog has ever been attacked or killed by a dog other than a pit bull. Are you even sure it was a pit bull.Or did someone just say that. Were you there when the dog was attacked. Are you sure the dog didn't pick a fight with the wrong dog and get his butt handed to him.People that don't know anything about these so called "KILLER" dogs think the way you do and its a shame. The people that do know about them know better than to talk like that.I have a few buddys down south that run pits as catch dogs for wild boar.Thats a type of "HUNTING" the labs can't handle. We had a pack of "KILLER" dogs running around here for a while a few years back.Killing cats dogs sheep and goats. At a few local farms. And you know there was not one single "KILLER pit bull in the bunch. There was two Black Labs however. They were real good hunting dogs.At least thats what the owner said

The pit bulls were the killers. Eye witnesses. You might be a hell of a nice guy. But Pit bulls, Rotwiellers and Dobermanns are dead meat in my yard unless their owners are with them. That is the way it is! That is the way I am.

Took your test and got it right the 2nd try and was not shure before trying of 3 the 2nd try was, this test does show me something that does not suprise me at all but is a small point for boyd and his loved pet. I will wager along with boyd that most of the dogs that we do dispise for killing and call Pit bulls are super hybreads and yes we do all call them pit bulls and so do the A$$holes that have them. Boyds is still potenualy dangerus but not nearly as much as the super crosses. I will give boyd his ligit beef with us as he is right that the ones we truely despise and know of are not pruebreads. but then we seldom do see them just the realy bad ass ones that are all caled pit bulls allso

I will agree that dogs are often mistaken for Pits that are not. My son had a Red Heeler and a neighbor about a 1/2 mile from our house(Deputy Sherrif) had animal control pick her up thinking she was a Pit. She was a docile almost cowardly dog(abused prior to Bailey taking her in). would not hut a fly, but was certain death to any coon within a mile. She was very good wi th children. He took her to a vet, who refused to work on her unless Bailey was there. Said pits were the only dog with more powerful jaws.

Presonaly I would try to get a name change on your breed and not use [pit] or [bull] together and somehow try to outlaw cross breeding? probibly imposible, but would be nice for the peaple outlawing them to be able to distiguesh what they are outlawing??

The city council here is out-lawing ownership of pitbulls in town. None will be allowed in city limits. Most hope that the owners will move away if they don't like it. That is something for this town. They have almost no laws. The Sheriff asked them to pass the law, since he too wished that these killers were gone. There is genuine fear around town of those dogs. I am not the one that originally said shoot shovel silence. My kid's school teacher is one of the people I talked to about the dogs. Her husband is getting the law drawn up. If the law wasn't drawn up the dogs would have died a mysterious death. I live across town, so I doubt they would have gotten this far.
