Well I think I got screwed all the way around Julie got her femail dog and I got nothing. I didn't even get the .410 SXS. Julie traded it for the dog. Last I seen of her and the dog they were playing with a dolly in the garage. A DAM pink dolly. So you tell me what I got.

Donnie, just so you know. She was the dog that came out of the kennel with her nose to the ground and acting birdy as all get out. The others just ran out and went and peed.

So how was it supposed to happen. Here I thought I was going to get to pick a male dog, probably the one that wasn't the most aggresive but one that was a kind of a middle of the road dog. I will say this though. Every time Dep-Don opened the cage when he let them outside to do their job this one came out with its nose to the ground acting just like it was smelling birds. The wife might of got to pick her dog but it was the one that I think will make the best bird dog. I told Dep-Don that if he wanted cash I was more than prepared to get Julie to pay him. Instead he took the .410. I don't think he will regret it but if he does their is always cash or he can take the dog back (wife goes with it though) ;D ;D ;D

I guess my wife is sooooo cool. She lets me pick the dogs. Last time she wanted the runt and I over ruled her to get Cooper.
This time... I'll let her have a little more say... she wants a girl. We'll see. I prefer one too, but if a malle pup chooses us, too bad. We'll have another male.
Sure... I'm talking all tough now... on here where she can't see... oh crap... here she comes... I got to go.

Well this is how MY day went. 3:30Am I am wakened by the sound of puppys howling. Their cold. I go to the garage and turn on the heater as their is a Blizzard going on outside. I go back to bed but there is still one that likes to howl even when its warm I can't get back to sleep. 4:30AM I get out of bed as I am tossing and turning and finally decide to make coffee. The darker pup is still howling. Every now and then my pup howls. 5:30 AM I wake D-D. I'm tired. We watch the weather outside and try to decide whats going to happen today. Dad wakes up and heads for the shower. We all sit and watch the weather. I head for the shower and get ready for work which by this time is 7:00 Am. 7:10 Am I head for work. 11:00 Am D-D and Dad are back from delivering the pups. The tell me about all the accidents on the interstate going over and how the road is dry comming back. I buy them breakfast. 1:00 PM I finally get slowed down enough to go to lunch. I think hmm I'm going to take a nap. I get home and pup thinks hmm I been sitting in this cage all morning and now I want out. I walk the dog, it does the two p's and wants in. I take it in and feed it. I get my dinner ready thinking that I can take a nap after eating for about 15 minutes. Dog wants to play. We play. No nap. After play the dog is acting funny so I take it out for another walk. I command P dog plays Dog keeps playing and running. I think HMM sooner or later and yup it happens. FINALLY I put dog in cage and head for work. I get off work at 5:30 and wife is laying on couch and says I'm wore out. I say so am I. She says dog needs a walk and she has been out twice and did the P things twice but has eaten and what goes in has to come out. ::)I go out and walk dog. After about 15 minutes the dog does the p things and is ready to go back in. I sit down in my chair and dog gets in my lap and goes to sleep. So do I. Wife wakes me up to feed us both. I get done and wife says Dog needs a walk I walk dog. I come back in and say. She is yours, I am going to check email in a commanding voice. So its now 7:50 PM and my butt is draging but here I are. I'm tired and need sleep and the dog is sleeping in its bed in the living room with all its toys around it. Dang I'm glad I have the weekend off.

OH Dep-Don, Did I mention that it was slightly breezy here a bit today You ought to be here when it really blows. Molly ran around the side of the garage and the wind blew so hard it spun her out when she tried to make the corner. Boy did she make a Bee Line back to the garage. She don't like those breezy days at all. Also thanks for bringing my dad out to visit along with the pup. That made it special. I might of lost a gun but visiting with dad made up for it.

Bill... if the dog yaps at night and keeps you up... put the crate in the car. That works great. Another thing that I used that helped a lot is a little gadget called a snuggle safe. It's a microwaveable warmer that is thought to simulate littermates and help comfort and warm the pup at night when it's sleeping in the crate. They are not a lot of $$. I used mine a lot, and now the ol'Lady uses it in bed at night to warm up her feet instead of putting those god awful frozen things on me. Here she comes again... I gott to fly... Jabba
