;D Ya just never know do you. Pops could probably use a good pup and wish I had the means to get him one too just for company. He probably don't need that big of a dog but he sure did like my Buck. Oh well maybe another time.

HELP I needed a cage for the pup to use while I was at work so it dosent get into trouble. SO I went to walmart to look for one of those wire jobs after finding we didn't have one in the store. All they cost is about $35. Well by the time the wife got done it cost my about $150. I kept saying But HoneyI could buy another dog for as much as were spending. We now have a half of a pickup load of dog toys, bowls, chewy's, etc. etc. How the heck am I going to get the dog to learn to chew on the furniture if it has all those toys. Then she had to go see Leslie. Leslie is this vet that we met when we moved out here. She also is a Chef and don't ask me how THAT works together but it does. She is one awsome cook. So anyway, the wife goes to the vets office and buys a bag of dog food for puppies that must be specially formulated by a very expensive scientist in the back room as bag of that ran $50. Something called Science diet So all I can say D-D is keep the dog. The wife broke me. Now maybe you can get her to buy the dog.

Awww Bill. At least she is ON board. She could be fighting you about it?
I have fed Diamond Puppy to my last couple pups, and they have done extraordinarily well on it. It ain't $50 a bag neither.

Sorry Jabba, the vet told the wife to use this and I doubt there is any changing her mind now as the vet knows best you know. And I wanted a male pup but so far the wife keeps calling it SHE and we don't even have it home yet. Yes dear, I am rolling over.

My vet recently tried to get me to switch brands to something called Eagle Pack. Some sort of holistic crap. HOLY CRAP!!! That stuff was like stupid money. $35 for a 2 lb bag or some such craziness. I shook my head and walked away.

Bill, purina pro plan large puppy till he's 1.5 years old. Hills has less protien than purina. That is actually thier marketing scam. I spent some time with Rick Smith, son of world renowned trainer Delmer Smith and a top notch trainer in his own right. We talked among other things, about nutrition. Purina did a study using Alaskan sled dogs comparing protien levels and thier relationship to injury as well as recovery from injury. I will never feed anything other than purina. Hills Science diet did a study of rats and the relationship of high protien diets to kidney problems. this study was flawed. I will explain if ya call me, but lets just say the rats that developed kidney probs were manipulated by the researchers to already have a kidney issue. Your vet wants you to feed science diet cause it makes her money. Good luck with the bartering, as I understand it Don is gonna make it interestring for ya! GRIN!

Nope, he isn't going to make anything interesting for me. He has to deal with Julie as it sounds like I'm no longer in the picture and its going to be her dog Better get your dealing face on D-D. She has been a pain in the butt lately to deal with. Hope you enjoy it.
