Is anyone starting to see reloading components readily available again at your favorite gun shops? Around here you still can't get powders, primers, or bullets for the most popular pistol calibers or for .223 AR rifles. I don't usually use Federal primers but the biggest gun store in the area did have Federal small primers the other day so I got 500 (the max. they would allow you). The thing that is still so surprising to me is that, in addition to center-fire components, you can't get .22 LRs anywhere. When is the Obummer scare going to end!

I can get most primers and most powders (Well maybe not what i wanted but something to use for sure). It helps knowing the guys at the Indiana gun club and Profire arms in Indy. Between the two I do ok. I can also rent a cronograph at profire cheap.
I have had a hard time getting any Varget and small rifle CCI #400 primers. The federal primers will work but do not use them in a progressive press. They can detonate and did for my buddy when we used the, We did not see his cat for a week but Dillon made everything right including sending him an updated dillon instruction guide that states do not use federal primers. Win SR and Tula primers have been in stock after the shooting mess last year.
I had 2000 cci #400 now under 750 left. WIn SR were in stock last time I went but no rem 7 1/2br primers.
I did switch from varget to h322 and h335 since I had it. I also did up some 222 loads using lil gun instead of h322 two weekends ago when it rain all day. I had large 8 pound jugs of h322 and h335 i got with the original reloading setup. The 322 is great in keeping the 222 rem fed and happy. I got lucky in gettting my starter kit with un opened jugs of H110 h322 h335 and IMR 4831. I sold off the 4831 and the 300 win mag stuff and keep all the rest.
Hornady suspended the following stuff and about 150 other bullets this week to keep up with demand for others. The 105 grain 243 a-max is one I use for dads 243.
224 60gr V-Max .224 75/80gr A-max .243 105gr A-Max .284 162gr A-Max & HPBT .308 178gr/208gr HPBT
...and a WHOLE bunch of others...
I did get some ammo for the kimber in 22lr. Wolf match and Eley sport and Eley match pistol. Not your normal ammo (EXPENSIVE NON PBR AMMO) but I needed slow ammo for the Kimber. I got 2 bulk boxes of Win 525 at wall mart (Lucky as you know how I feel about wall mart) I got home and put the first 525 in old CCI boxes I had in the range bag to keep them from deforming anymore and to my suprise I got 501 bullets a full 24 short. The second 525 I keep in the milk jug it came in and I comtacted WIN with the lot number. I can not find fed 510 for the silly wet pistol and I am under a brick left.

We are starting to see some CCI primers now but you can't get .224 bullets (particularly the Hornady 55 gr. FMJ's) anywhere. You still can't get 22 long rifles - any brand. Hopefully things will get better. They can't get any worse, at least around here!

If you are willing to pay the hazmat fees my to guys will ship. www.profiresupply.com/Ammo.htmask for andrew. www.indianagunclub.com/I am seeing some more stuff leak into the streams. It sounds like your area is full of prepers and ammo gougers. At the last INDY 1500 gun show there was a table selling 25 rem golden bullets in a plastic ziplock bag for 5 dollars a bag. I saw 3 people buy a bag of 25. CCI mini mags came in at a second local store. He put them up on my local board. He had a whole bunch of ammo come in on a pallet over the july 4th and spent the day priceing and displaying them. Before the end of the holiday weekend the pallet minus 3 boxes of 50 40 S@W were all sold out. the mini mags (A few cases) were going before noon on juy 5th and that was a work day for me. @ boxes a person per day on the mini mags.

CCI primers for LR and small rifle were 28 per 1000 today I got the sr.
LP and SP were 29 per 1000 and plenty were in stock I got win LP for my 44 mag.
Lots of powders also. No 231 or trail boss but I picked up Titegroup and 322 today. 24 and 27.50 a pound.
22 LR still seems to be gold. I found 3 old bricks in my fishing equipment this week. Nice prices o. The bricks 17.99 on one and 19.33 on the other. Old stuff I put away in the wrong place. I remember buying them when we went ice fishing a few years ago. 8 d cell batteries and 3 hand Warmers in a bag with the Ammo. Nice little find since my supply of it got reduced this week in a little splurge with a friend at the range .

Still can't get W-231, HP-38, Unique, or H-335 around here. Haven't been able to get these now for many, many months. May have to resort to ordering them on-line and pay the HAZMAT fees.

We are semi lucky in Indiana with a very large local gun show with1500 tables. Once you get past the tee shirts and flea market stuff we still have some reloader suppers and even a few who sell reloads ammo still even with the major cost of insurance on the business. Unique and w231 must be out of production as I have seen almost none of it for sale. Titegroup is going into some 45 Acp Loads to start doing some bullseye soon. I have pro fire as my supplier and he caters well to the locals. He just moved locations and into a large shop and has been doing some major purchases as he has reloading classes and those classes get stacked high during the colder months. I am taking a second class in fe that is on pistol cartridge rifle Loading and I am hoping to learn a couple of tricks on crimping and tune fed/lifter lever action technique that might just let get Swc lead Loads to feed into my lever action marlins. Might just get my 357 marlin to feed the 1400 Swc lead bullets dad got at a garage sale. Lots of lead and little way to shot them all Off I. Only a pistol.

I am seeing a lot of reloading stuff in stock again. Tons of primers Primers are no longer a problem around here and have not been for some time. Regarding powders, however, we are starting to see some (but not much) H-335 (most popular around here for .223) and Unique (popular for all the handguns calibers like 9mm,40 S&W, .45 ACP, etc.). You still cannot get W-231, HP-38 or any of the other powders most used in all the popular handgun calibers. Bullets are starting to show up again at most of the popular mail order places.

Try getting any h110. I have only a pound left and 600 44 mag cases to fill. IMight go ahead and get n-110 but it is expensive but just the same stuff as h110. Just made by that v named company I can't pell.
Primers are available but I have not seen a sale on any. Hopefully we will see a sale again one day.
Unique I have given up on a bit. I no longer like to use powder that I can double charge a case with so trail boss is now doing the light cowboy loads. I made 50 .222 rounds on New Year's Day. I think I have them Down to near perfect but my .222 is very load friendly.
