Just got back from the Highmore trip and loaded down with rusty model T stuff, Likely will unload tomarow sometime and get a better study of my treasures lol. Seems I scord very well on my investmet on this buy? as the cab is not the worst or best it's not bad and has the top wood yet, windshild glass and back window glass , passenger door looks good, has the cowl lights brakets, 4 front fenders pretty ruff, 3 rims, and other parts to be studyed yet, But the big bonus to me was I got a model TT truck pickup box or that type anyway so now I have a good start on my 2nd model TT truck lol. This is much differant than the grain box of my dads truck. I was hopeing to find an excuse to build two, one for each grandson, now I have it.

Well Jeff & sara & sean came yet last night about 9:00 pm and we unloded his trailer & truck of all my SD. model T parts So the move got finished in one day, slept well last night on all the good babuqe baby back ribs I ate on the way home at Mitchel only cost me $76 for the 3 of us but we were darn hungery lol. The two magureta's I had probibly put it over the top lol. But was better than eating at a quick stop and cost as much, 1st time I ever ate at a Ruby Tuesday was realy good but can't aford that very offten. But it was the perfict time to splurge one time.

Did a little researching on the pickup box and back in the day it was called an Express box and had verying opshons some were all wood some all steel I think mine had both steel with wood floor, then some had a roof & some had heavy screen on the sides and screen doors on the back for security, to me it's a long bed ford F250 LOL.

Yes it is now offical, at least in my mind That I am now building two model TT trucks, one farm truck & one Express truck, Maybe now I will even fall into enough car parts to build me a car too? LOL. geting a good varity of parts for one Just need to fall into something to tell me what type of T car it will be yet lol. Most likely a part of this and a part of that one of a kind. DD you best dig your old T out so I can figure out what you may have, as I may get generous with my left overs that may work for you? All I know now is you have a part of a car. But I know I will likely have a lot of left overs when I am done as I already have quite a bit I woun't use on trucks And it will only grow from hear, just the nature of this beastly hobby. By the way I have two cars in very poor melted down in he dirt spoted very close to both of us. Can't tell right off what they once were but for model T cars. also don't know their value yet but intend to find out someday in my mind not a lot but the owner may differ, many do.

I know of two close to me but I just never got around to asking the owner. If their the same ones you are thinkin' of I think I got a good shot at gettin' em cheap...... Let me know...

Just go getum if their cheep, as their is likely not much their I could use anyway, just fun to pick over them was about all I was thinking but you may find some goodies for a car. I feel I should talk to the guy anyway as probibly at least 8 peaple have told me he may have something for me?? But I would not myself drag out much money for what I saw their. I'm hopeing he may have more? No one around when I last stoped.

Bought a new peice of equipment yesterday to work on this old stuff, my old 2 horse air compresor never had the air supply & psi 125 to sand blast so I think I now have taken care of that with a 60 gal tank & 155 psi. Will be a while till I bring it home as I first need 220 wired into my new shop, so I just payed haff and put it on Bomgarras lay a way till I get the shop ready for it but I took avantage of the sale before it was over. Felt I needed this more than ever now with the model T projects. No I could not afored the kool $1800.00 one Just the cheap red one at $436.00 lol. Still got to pay Dick to wire from the meeter pole all the way out to the new shop in 220 and don't have any Idea what thats going to cost me but it's like a 150 yds or so & all new wire & boxes & weilding receptical as well.

Also think I will finaly get to see the model T honey hole out at Stuart maybe sometime next week. This guy sounds promiseing and then will through you a curve and then come back sounding real again so I don't know how things will go with him. But am expecting a tough negoseation but feel I am well trained. lol. He does have a few parts I could use But I'm not desprate, but am lazy and I'm hopeing he can save me some hard work?
