;D some things are better left to the imagination. ;D That was one where Dep-Don and I were deer hunting and decided to drive up to a hill overlooking a pond with a bunch of sumack brush growing next to it. We had just topped the hill when a bunch of deer jumped up and began running. We bailed out and started looking for antlers. Not finding any we got back into D-D's pickup to turn back up hill towards another location. Well D-D was never one to run any tires worth a spit and the set he had on were probably bought at the local junk yard for $5 each and probably only JUST held air. Well we started slidding sidways and probably slid downhill about 50 yds sideways with a pond at the bottom that was froze over but still probably 10' deep and at the bottom of a 8' drop off. I think we were probably about 5' from the drop off when the truck quit slidding. Neither one of us wanted to bail out as we were afread of any movment might get the truck slidding again. Finally D-D put it in gear and we slowly inched our way out of there. He acted like nothing had happened but I could smell STINK and it wern't my pants. I knew I was ok, I was on the uphill side and could jump. ;D He knew he was toast. That was only one of the very very many times that we lived to see another day. Kind of got to be a thing of habit over the years. Then there was another time where he and another buddie decided to go ice fishing. The ended up slidding down a tree filled ravine about 150 yds (I mean a VERY steap and deep tree filled ravine) in which D-D's buddie ended up wrecking his Blazer and if I remember right it was totalled. Well somehow D-D got back to town and got his pickup to go back out there but on the way home he ran off the road and hit a tree stump in the ditch and pretty much totalled his pickup out. Then there was the time

i'd be willing to bet DD was trying to figure out how to do a 180 so as to put your butt on the down hill side. well at least that's what would have been going through my mind had i been driving with a good friend of mine in my truck. ;D but when you're sliding on ice ya can't do a thing can ya.

The hell they did. Your pickup was hauled home by Kennys wrecker when you hit the stump. I came and got you REMEMBER I also remember the time you had to show off the stang to my kid and you slammed second gear and broke off the gear shift. You made it home but in second all the way LOL ;D ;D

Jabba. Fishing at the top is NOT optional. Its the main reason to go there. ;D Besides, everyone needs to eat sooner or later. Your welcome anytime. Right now I'm just waiting to see how things turn out at work. Things do seem to be really pissing me off. I remember Dep Don pulling me home ONCE and he has never forgot it.

Back to ATV's Bill a winch is a must!!!!!!! But there will be times as every ATV owner will tell you that you will have to pick up the front or back end and move the machine over; that's where the weight of the ATV becomes a factor................ remember you ain't a spring chicken any more LOL LOL !!!!

I just carry a come-a-long in the trunk on mine. I have needed it a couple times. A winch would be nice I guess... but you sure can pull a lot more directions with a come-a-long, so even if I had a winch, I'd still have a come-a-long with me.
Cheap insurance. It'll work to flip it back over too if you need it to.

Well the ATV Project is still in the works and going strong. The wife said I had no place to keep one over the winter. So the day before yesterday I cleaned out the garage and did some rearanging and moving of things down to the store room in the basement. I now have 5'X10' in front of the Expidition where a ATV will fit and still have 2.5' behind the Expi. ;D Plus her brother emailed her and said BUY IT as her two brothers go to the MT's and ride theirs all the time and when I go I take the extra that they have to haul out for me and when we go the women all stay back at the condo and go shopping Well with the size of the 650i the wife can fit on the back and the women won't have to stay home and shop due to one ATV not being big enough to ride 2 up. I also have been doing a crap load of reading on the Kawasaki forums on the 650i and it seems their one of the hot items on all the ATV web sites. It seems that the 650i can keep up with the 750i and handles better than the 750i and will cost me $1000 less, so it looks like its the way to go between the two. The wife is comming up with less and less reasons not to buy it. Best one was when she told a buddie of mine that I might as well wait till spring and get one because its almost winter and I wouldn't be needing one till spring. ;D He let her know imediatly that that was the main time to have one was durring fall hunting season. I just kept my mouth

She just as well let you win Bill; Some time I'ld like to compare my 360 w/ your 650 in our kind of rough country like we used to horseback. Not on trials and places everyone else rides
