There sure hasn't been much activity on the board for the last few months. I hope folks are not starting to loose interest. Hopefully, it's just the time of year.

It's that time of year - hunting season is over, no football, etc.

Yeah, it's been pretty slow. It seems as the years go on more and more members are becoming less active in the sport compared to their younger days. As such, that alters the number of topics.

It's probably true in my case as I didn't get to hunt any during the regular season this year as I had two back surgeries: one in late May and the other in early December. I am still hobbling around and taking physical therapy twice a week. Hopefully I will be recovered enough by mid April so I can hunt during spring gobbler season.

My hip surgery a couple years back didn't work so I'm going in Tuesday for a consultation with a new doc.

From what I have been seeing on TV the whole world is under some kind of warning. We had 6 in snow and ice on top so we were like stranded in the complex here in Orleans Ind. They don't know how to clean roads. Hwy 37 main road was even nasty, but they finally got some of it but our parking lot is still covered, there men they hire to do the job don't know nothing. Oh well screaming don't do any good and is Government apartments, not much to say for the people that run the complex. Come on summer and nice weather.

We didn't have any snow until about 2 weeks ago we got about 4". It appears we're going to get another 4-6 thru the weekend, but I think this will be the last of the winter season. The latter part of the 10 day forcast for us calls for 4-5 days of mid-50's. There might be some snow after, but the cold temps will be gone.
A month from now will be mighty nice!
