Jimh wonders why I claim to be so busy for the last 5 months. Perhaps what I got in the mail yesterday sums it up

Well that will work.
It would be nice if she hunted or fished but in the real world after a long day on the lake or a cold day in the treestand it is nice to come home to a hot meal and a warm bed.
I guess if she could butcher a doe and clean fish it would be even better.
Believe me it is a hard thing making a courtship into a marrage and keeping it together over a lifetime.
I have been married 14 years and we dated/lived together for 5 years before that. I know of prison sentences for murder that were less time served than that. It is not always fun and games but we have overcame most of the hard times. 2008/09 was real hard thanks Oboma haters and lovers for the constuction downfall.
Take it nice and slow don't rush into it even after the ring.

Man, the last few weeks have been crazy. A week of vacation and now planning a wedding. I'm going to be glad when the date and venue are set; this seems to be the hard drawn out part. I should have taken my brother's advice, "Let her plan everything and just show up".

Our wedding was very simple. 28 family members stopped at aunts and uncles, no cousins. Reception was at Deb's parents house. Remember there is no connection between how much is spent on the wedding and the strength or length of the marriage. This January we will be married 40 years and I think all put together it was less than $500. The wedding flowers were $28 and I paid with check. They never cashed it so the flowers turned out to be free!!! Good luck with the plans and I would also take your brother's advice. Remember if you make the decision and it turns out to be the wrong one you will hear about it FOREVER!!!
