The Upper Missouri M/L will be having the fall shoot in Inman Nebraska Oct 4-5-6. Due to the very dry conditions pleas bring a fire bucket and we will have a ban on open fires this year unless it rains or snows. The picture is of the first Nebraska muzzleloader season. It is 17 below in this picture. Attachments:

I suspect that that was the camp where Two Moons got his name. I still have the photo that proves it. ;D I always liked winter hunting camp during ML season but kind of lost interest in it after Kenny T passed away. Camping out in a wall tent in -30 below deer hunting was pretty awesome. Seen some of the biggest deer I have ever seen in my life at those times as it herds the deer up and brings out the big ones. Didn't much care for the rain though as I have always hated getting wet but I suspect that this year there wasn't much chance of that was there. ;D

Camp was warm IF you sat next to the stove! Our low for the weekend was 18 degrees. I had plenty of ash wood in the box and kept the sheep shack about 65 all night long. Dick was up several times stoking his stove but kept warm too. Sunday after the shoot was OVER it warmed up to 60. Here is the main campp and my sheep shack. We ended up with 16 shooters and a good time was had by all but those pot luck suppers nearly foundered me. Attachments:
