As I speak I am watching at least 8 bunnys play under my apple trees this morning. Wonder how many are on the other 3 sides of my house? This was just for you Red & bubba, eat your hearts out.

bunnies! I thought they were extinct. They sure seem to be around here. Catch a bunch and send them to me. I may even turn them all loose without eating any.

How come during the Spring and Summer they're romping around in plain view. And then in the Fall and Winter they disapear until dark.

This was the first hunting season since 1971 I didn't kill a rabbit off our farm. In fact, I only went out once the whole season. Ole Lil Boy chased a few rabbits that day but I never got a shot. I wish the bunnies were as thick here as they are under Bounce's apple tree...

Well I started the garden yesterday and burned off some old leaves and grass and then started roto tilling the ground. Going to have to plant a big garden this year as the food will be needed as the world starts to tank.
Low and behold 2 bunnies on the edge of the garden this morning. Seen one run towards the propane tank and disappear. I think maybe a batch of little ones in a hole under the tank. I guess they know I will take care of the local coyotes and the garden will have all those lovely greens soon. Who said the rabbits were not smart. Normally they stay on the other side of the road and just come in to raid the garden. this year they want to live in the yard.
