Yeah, but they need 30 rounds. How on earth are you going to hit whatever it is you're trying to with only 10 Well there is an easy sloution, carry 3 or 4 magazines in your pocket or you can even glue them back to back. I always carry 3-4 in my pocket so I don't have to reload them when I'm hunting. Course I never shoot that much when hunting.

You can glue magazines back to back, but there's one small trick to it. Ruger magazines sold for the 10/22 have a slightly curved bottom, and they won't fit back to back, flush. Ruger magazines for the 77/22 have a flat bottom. Other than the flat bottom, 77/22 magazines are identical, and interchangeable in the 10/22. If you want to glue 2 magazines back to back, get 2 77/22 magazines to do it with.

The better 25 round aftermarket magazines work really well. I have a couple, HotLips magazines, I believe they are Butler Creek. I have rattled off a whole lot of 25 shot strings without a jam. They are more susceptible to jamming with cheap ammo, Federal Milk Carton, that the factory 10 rounders. But with decent ammo, Remington Golden Bullet or CCI Mini-mags, my magazines work flawlessly.
I have had a couple other brands that didn't fare so well. A little checking on the rimfire forums will tell which brands are performing the best.

klsm54:
My son's Ramline magazine was jamming with the Remington Golden Bullets to which you refer. However the banana clip was just for plinking anyway so neither of us cared too much if it jams occasionally. The original rotary magazine has never caused a jam to my recollection. Also, with it holding 10 rounds, plus an additional round in the chamber, it is rare that he ever needs to reload it on a squirrel hunting outing.
