www.santeeparkswildlife.org/hunting.htmwww.santeeparkswildlife.org/map.pdfYou can then go to maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wlclick on satellite and you can really zoom in and see the land. If I am correct that you can only hunt the orange (and other colored areas) ? What would be the specific area you had in mind? Also, it says no ATV's are allowed. So I assume no trucks are allowed --- gated off in other words. So would there be a couple places that Bubba or someone else could walk a few hundred yards and set up a blind with success? Or what would be the plan?

ATV's aren't a problem if NOT abused........ There have been groups that have came in and abused the wildlife AND land they have been and will be kicked out..... Thats why the rule is there.

We usally set up camp in Sec's 22 or 27 of Spade township. Plenty of turkeys there. But we can move around to anywhere in the orange to hunt w/o permission from anyone . It's all good!!!!! And beauifol country. I should add the farther north towards the river the more the chance of Rattling snakes....

DD... is there anyone I could write and find out for sure that ATV's can be used? I'd hate to drive 1400 miles to find out I couldn't hunt once I get there. Maybe there's someone that can issue me some kind of permit because I'm handicapped. As far as walking a couple hundred yards, I'm real lucky to make it a hundred INCHES, let alone a hundred yards... ... walking more then a couple steps at a time would be a real effort.

I'll check it out. They most likely will want a Doctor's letter I'll try to catch up w/ them.

No problem with a doctor's letter. I have Handicapped Certificates from Delaware, Virginia and North Carolina which allow me to hunt from a vehicle. If one of those will do, I can bring them.
