I have a deposit in for another field bred springer.....since last January. I was 3rd in line for a female last spring. The breeder had two females that she was breeding. I thought for sure we would have one by June or July. As luck would have it each female had litters of 2 females and 5 males.
This year we are first in line. We should have a pup this June.
Panda is black and white and I think the new one will be liver and white.

Bounce, to make the duo PANDA BEAR? hehehe
I have a personal thought that I want dogs names to end in a vowel. Names that end in vowels one can yell louder. We named out last daughter Beth and found that out.
I am leaning towards Missy. Unless you have some other suggestions? Anyone have a good dog name?

I guess we aren't going to get lucky yet. The breeder we are working with has two females she is breeding this spring. We had #1 pick of a female from the first litter and a #2 pick of a female from the 2nd litter. So I'm figuring that we are almost guaranteed a female from the first litter. Panda is black and white and the pup from the first litter will be liver and white. We got the anticipated delivery date and did the math as to when we would be able to pick her up. I got the email. The first litter has arrived!!! Cool!! I read a little further in the email. The breeder states that for the first time since she has been breeding springers she had an all same sex litter.......5 MALES!!!! That means from the last three litters she has had the score is 15 males and 4 females.
OK, I guess we wait for litter #2!!! Drats!!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D That would be my luck also so when I got Molly I waited till I seen the dog in the litter I really liked and picked it out and then checked its sex. I just happened to pick a femail. She weighted 112 at her last check up at the vets. I think I got a horse by mistake.
