Now my side door is glassless in addition to the front door. In both cases Franklin has been involved. Thankfully he wasn't injured by the shattered glass. I'll have someone come out this week to replace the glass in both doors. I want plexiglas though, it's much safer. A dog next door was seriously hurt a couple years ago in the same fashion. That Schnauzer enthusiam tends to get them into trouble too often. I always make the dog stay in place until the door is completely open. Unfortunately it doesn't work too well for my wife. She and Franklin don't always work well together. Big dogs can really be their own worst enemy, especially around glass windows and doors. Best wishes. Cal - Montreal

My old dog Buck use to forget the glass was there and do a full bore dash into it but it being thick glass he would bounce back about 4' and I would laugh my butt off at him and call him a Dumb a$$. He would get all embarrased and go hide ;D
