Well we got about 6-7" of snow the other day so yesterday I set out two box traps. This morning I went outside real quick and found two rabbits. I threw the boxes in the garage just in case they chew out. So I'll take care of them tonight when I get home.
Sure beats shooting them with a shotgun.

Now you've really found a way to save money on ammo, Red ! ;D ;D ;D Sorry, couldn't resist. Is trapping rabbits legal in Missouri?

Red don't you have to have your traps tagged with your name and address too?

How about your trapping license? Don't you need one of them. I'd hate to see you do anything illegal.

By the way I hope you don't open the door of the trap and shoot the rabbit with a shotgun when it tries to run away. Naw You reach in and grab him by his hind legs and then hit him in the head with a hammer handle. You don't need a trapping permit for groundhogs, rabbits, and squirrels. Suppost to have your full name and address on it but all I have to do is open the front door, turn my head, and look 5 feet away.

I guess that makes sense in a redneck sort of way. They probably have a lot of places to hide in between the old fridge and the junk cars and weeds that have grown up around the place. ;D ;D ;D Sounds like a good place to trap a rabbit. Pesky wabbit's anyway.

;D ;D ;D ;D Classic, Bill! I would add 'under the bass boat' but we know Red's not gonna fork over the $$$ for a bass boat. Had to get mine in, too!

Red Neck bass boat = two 48 ford hoods welded together at the back. Can go at the same speed either way as it has a bow on both ends.

If I had a bass boat, I'd replace the driving seats and bolt down an old recliner
