Rabbit season opened in october but no one goes until after christmas b/c it's just too thick along with the fact people go deer hunting.
We all wait for a real good ice storm to knock down all the brush before going out. It turns a 10 yard max to a 20 yard max and I'll be thrilled in january and february when we can get a 30-40 yard shot.
The central and northern part of the state got nailed with 1-2" of ice so it's just a matter of waiting for it all to dry.
