Well we had our small game day, the weather was not so good as aspected, but you are a hunter or not. We got some hares, ducks, goose, woodcock, pigeon, crows. So not bad at all for a rainy day

Do you mean the blue bird in the middle, this is an pigeon(and we called them blue ones) Or do you mean the one on the bottum of the second pic? I dont now Englisch name for him, but he is family of crows and macpie, in spring i see them alot while i am sitting on an high seat, they steel a lott of eggs and young ones from singing birds. And he also give's a loud noise when he see a fox/cat/human walking around

Ok I was talking about the Pigeon. Guess once I know what it is we do have tha color allso. The other one, I'm like bill it looks closer to what we call bluejay. Males are all blue. We do have Magpies too, don't think any blue is on them. They are pretty much a pasture bird.

Wow, that sure is a mixed bag! Looks like you folks had a good day, Dutchtrapper. Some of the game does look a bit different than ours.

Boy! It's been a long time since I've seen a mixed bag anywhere near that.... Like DD said, when we were kids we hunted whatever popped up. In my area there was a lot more small game 30 years ago than today. Looks like you had a great day. Do you use dogs for rabbits over there, or do you jump shoot them?

KLSM54 we didn't get any rabbits this day (they are all hares), but dependeple of the day we say the rabbits are up or down, when they up the dogs will get them out off the bushes Rabbits population is switching very fast overhere, one year they are a pest, the other year they all sick (mix)

Whoops! I'm not used to "hares" over here. We have a few snowshoe hares, very few, but they are in their white phase when we hunt them. Your hares look like our cottontail rabbits..... on steroids... ;D ;D

DH .. do you eat the crows? I have tried them when I lived in Mississippi... they're a little strong tasting for me ... another question... what's the difference between your hares and rabbits?
Thanks
