If you've been reading half what I've posted in the last few days, y'all know I'm going deer hunting for most of the month of November. When I get back from my NC trip, the day after (Monday) is opening day of Rabbit season here in Delaware.... man-0-man what a month.
With no 4 wheeler to get around on I was wondering how I'm going to rabbit hunt the home farm...or anywhere for that matter... I was talking to my grandson about it and he volunteered his ATV for the winter... he's got one of them 800 cc Grizzly things... and he said he hardly uses it during the winter... so.. I've got it from the middle of November till February (when rabbit season closes)....
WAAAA HOOO, now I'm really pumped!!!

Holy crap. An 800. You should be able to hook a dog trailor, or a rack for bracein your shotgun for a 100 + yard shot for deer. Glad to hear that you found some transport to get ya out so as to hunt....Wish ya luck down in Carolina this year.

The weeds are so thick still - although it's been rabbit season for 30 days.
I've jumped about 12 this year while deer hunting --- but I've yet to actually see a rabbit.
