I have mismatched camo like crazy. I try to wear ASAT camo. Seems to work the best for me, but I need something green. ASAT is all brown.
I buy a new set every 3 or 4 years when I can't sew, or tape them together any more.

I'll look but I have been busted MANY times by deer in this asat, and as long as I stay still... they usually forget about me. I have been busted at 50 yards in a FIELD and she eventuallly went back to feeding.

Deer are so funny about seeing people. I think it depends on how much people pressure they are under - and what kinds of people pressure they are under.
I was scouting in a bluejeans and a white shirt a few weeks ago and was looking at deer a couple hundred yards away. All of a sudden a doe and two fawns came out RIGHT by me. I just kind of slid in the grass a little bit. The doe walked within 10 feet and never saw me. One fawn got within 4 feet and sort of saw me. For ****s and giggles I jumped up and tryed to grab the fawn ;D ended up touching him on the leg before he was able to get fully away. What the doe was doing I don't know...No doubt would it be dead if I was a coyote let alone a lion.
Then I decide to try to stalk up on those other deer. I get within 20 yards and watched them for a minute.
But as soon as deer season comes around, they sure get sharper...

This may be a bit out in left field, but I got to thinking about the effectiveness of the black pajamas the Viet Cong wore in Nam. In thick bush it seems ideal for a stake out. I'm not big on romping through the bush wearing sandals, but for early morning or twilight the black appears to fit right in. Anyone have any opinions on this? I'm sure they wouldn't wear it otherwise. Just wondering. Best wishes.

Hello Red,
You might want to check this out. I understand camo bikini panties are the rage with a lot of the young chicks. That could be a real turn on for a guy with a questionable love life. I saw a young girl with a camo mini skirt at the shopping center recently. It sure didn't leave much to the imagination. Does that do anything for you Red? huh, huh? does it. huh? Best wishes.

You mean like I'm ahead of you... I know a good looking (for a) redneck girl (drives a like 1980 dodge jackedup truck, confederate flag purse, and a black lab named ******) who just had a baby girl a few weeks ago and the dad's no where to be seen. So I'm playing it conservative - held the kid for like an hour, she's sending me baby pics on email, etc. She'd be a good pickup if she ever wants a daddy for the kid. Hell I've said some of the stupidest stuff I've ever said in front of and to this girl, and she still talks to me lol. Told her last week "I'll babysit if you ever want to be a stripper and make lots of money giving extras to the dirty 45 year old man out in the alley. Not bad money if you don't mind your breath smelling like rotten *** cheese and having ***** stuck in your teeth like dental floss" Me and her were about on the ground in tears from laughter as the 3 or 4 people in the room were about to throw up ;D

My mother who is in her eighties bought me a camo sweatshirt. I was a little amazed. However, now I am in fashion - I have camo.

I completely camo'ed my Kayak this year, paddle, boat and a camo jacket. I managed to sneak abut 10 feet closer to the deer than I did with the old green coleman canoe. I think it makes more difference how yo sneak than what you wear.

I think you can make noise as long as you are moving very slowly.
This is my theory If you're an animal you aren't going to get an anxiety attack everytime you hear a slow crunch (even if its comming in your direction. There are so many animals in the woods that make noise. I think it's the quick movement (even if silent) that catches an animal's eye most.
