Just a reminder that the Upper Missouri Muzzleloaders spring shoot will be the weekend of April 28th at the Range in O'Neill, Nebraska. If you are interested in attending PM Moons or Bounce or DD and we will get a map and driving directions out to you.
This is a shoot for traditional rifles only so if you have an inline come anyway and borrow a real gun.

I probably won't be able to make it this year again.  I was supposed to be off that weekend but SOMEONE decided that they needed their spring shoot off and switched the weekends around so now I'm working that weekend.  Plus I need to have vacation put in at least 60 days ahead of time. |

Sorry to hear that, we willl miss you again, Don and Jodi were asking.
I just came back from cleanup at the range and i camped out there this weekend with no other help than my 5 year old grandson. Mom and grandma wante to make a shopping trip and I was given a helper??? That kid ran for 14 straight hours and I got to take a break from work every 10 minutes to say DON"T do that. He found a hawk and reshaped part of the camper, he tried to start his own camp fire, he pumped the 30 gallon tank on the well dry in 1/2day and he managed to say "grampa come look over 200 times in one hour! I am home now and am totally shot. I am too tired to sleep. He found out how to NOT use a restroom, I told him he could just go out from camp and pee. Instead he went on the tires of the camper and said "Look Grandpa ! just like my dog does". We got to spend quality time together eating cheezy hot dogs over an open fire and listening to his latest McDonalds give away music box play the same song to 27 hours. Now he wants to come to Spring Shoot and live in Grampa's tent with him ALL WEEKEND. And the worst thing is that I WILL take him,

Now I did not know about all this fun when you invited me to go along sat. and I decided to stay home and work on the boat. Looks as though I missed all the fun, but the boat is clean now and looking good....listning to your story though gives me a feeling of regret..... NOT!!! LOL.

Well the shoot went well with over 17 camps and a good batch of shooters. Bounce brought his grandkids and his grandson took a fine prize home. B ounce will get many hours of enjoymnet from the BUGLE somebody gave his grandson. After 4 days of rain the weather cleared up and the shoot was warm and sunny. I went home with dry canvas for the first time in years. Our inline shoot went well, we hung one up at 25 yards and everyone shot at it.

I will admit I was some surprised when Bounce tooted his bugel and made GOOD noises. We are going to have him do revellie and retreat from now on.
