The NFL has announced that there will be no preseason games this year, due to Covid-19. Preseason games are when low round draft choices and undrafted free agents get a chance to show their skills, so it will be a tough year for them to make a team roster.

I'm still wondering what they're going to do about the usual close proximity of spectators in the stands? Are fans going to be required to wear masks?

Good question. The Governor of New Jersey is saying that opening the Giants and Jets stadium to spectators won't happen - games will be played in an empty stadium.

I understand now that Washington is not going to allow anyone in the stands either. It's going to be a weird season I'm afraid.

I think a lot of teams will play in empty stadiums, and a few teams will allow some fans in the stands, but not a full house. Yep, gonna be strange.
