Monday marked the beginning of NFL free agency - when players whose contract has run out can sign with any team. Right now there are lots of players signing with new teams, and lots of rumors of other moves. Maybe the most notable free agent is Tom Brady, who is free to sign with any team, or re sign with New England. It will be interesting to see what kind of interest a 42 year old QB gets.

I remember hearing at the end of last season Robert Craft saying that he hoped they could keep Brady. I don't like the Patriots and I am not particularly fond of Brady, but it would be a shame if he couldn't finish his career at New England.

Brady says he's moving on, but no word on where, yet. Yeah, seems odd to me that he's leaving, too.

Surprise, surprise. Brady signed with Tampa Bay. Jameis Winston is a free agent, and so is Cam Newton. Dunno who the Patriots qb is going to be, maybe they'll draft one.

Wow, can't believe Brady actually leaving the Patriots! I'm almost equally surprised ar him going to Tampa Bay. I can't imagine anybody signing Cam Newton with his personality and horrible play (when he last played). Jameis Winston, on the other hand, has shown moments of greatness on occasion. The Redskins, at least IMHO, need a good QB. I hope they don't take Newton after foolheartedly hiring Newton's former coach.

Jameis Winston can look fantastic, but he's an interception machine - he throws almost as many picks as he does tds. I think that scares people away from him. The big question on Cam Newton is his health. With everything being shut down,I don't think any team can get him in for a work out and physical - doubt if anyone signs him until they can check him out.
