Yikes! Week 2 was a tough week for qb's. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers qb, went down with a non contact injury to his throwing elbow. He's done for the year, expected to have surgery soon. New Orleans qb, Drew Brees, hurt his thumb on his throwing hand - last word I heard was surgery for ligament damage, out 6-8 weeks. Then, on Monday night, Sam Darnold didn't play for the Jets - he has mono - out 2-6 weeks. Then their back up qb, Trevor Siemean, got hurt, dunno how long he's out for. Remember, too, last week Nick Foles, the Jacksonville qb, went down with a broken shoulder - he's out for quite a while. And then on Tuesday, the Giants announced that they were benching Eli Manning and starting Daniel Jones, their 1st round draft pick. Tough week to be a quarterback.....

My Skins lost to the Cowboys! They're terrible! Re. the Giants, I can't help but wonder but what their problems won't be solved by benching Manning. I was hoping that the Saints would beat the Rams after their loss last year due to horrible officiating.

Dovehunter, I agree - changing qb's won 't give the Giants a defense . I think Elo got treated worse than he deserves. And, yeah. . I doubt the Redskins or the Giants will be very good this year.
