Now that the first wave of free agency is over, the next big event in the NFL is the draft, which takes place at the end of April. Right now, teams are evaluating prospects at various workout events, measuring height, weight, speed, etc. There's always lots of rumors and speculation about what team wants what player, etc. And, something called a mock draft, which is where a fan or pundit tries to play general manager, guessing who a team will take.

Well, the NFL draft is over. All the teams have chosen new players, all the pundits have told us who made smart choices and who were idiots. . . Truth is, it will be 3-4 years before we can see what choices were the wisest. Both the Giants and the Redskins took qbs in the first round, so there will be a lot of "ya shoulda taken the other guy" tossed back and forth in the next few years.

As far as I'm concerned there weren't any QB's worthy of the name coming out of this year's draft, including Kylar Murray. Like you say, we'll just have to wait and see.
