I watched the Giants/Eagles game tonite and came to the conclusion that Saquon Barkley is the only offense the Giants have! I know McAdoo lost his job last year (or whenever) for benching Eli Manning. However I can't help but wonder, in retrospect, if he didn't do the right thing. Eli looked terrible tonite and IMHO should be benched. I think the Giants need to start thinking about looking for another QB. They way they are going they may get the 1st pick in next year's draft!

The Giants are definitely a bad football team. IMO, they'll be bad until they get an offensive line that can block somebody. Last year and so far this year, the O line is about the worst in the league. You can blame Eli, but he's under pressure on every throw and gets sacked often. I'd hate to see a rookie Q B try to learn behind a line like that. As far as McAdoo, he benched Eli to start Geno Smith, supposedly to see what he could do. If you wanted to know what Geno Smith could do, you could watch tapes of what he did with the Jets. You'll notice Geno Smith isn't tearing up the league wherever it is he went to. . . Benching Eli and breaking his streak of games started was a stupid move. I'm sure that was part of why McAdoo got fired, but far from all of it - he lost control of the team as well.

Eli wasn't completing passes even when he had the time. I still say his time is over. You were right though about Geno Smith. Hey, I don't even like the Giants, but I hate to see such a franchise in such dire straights.
