Hello to you! You were gone for a long time. Hey dove hunter. I have still been looking for a palomino mossburg rifle. I have been putting up some nice lever action 22’s but finding one like yours has been a real challenge. I have 6 one hundred dollar bills with a mossburg’s name on it. I have picked up a ton of marlin model 39 a models and 22 lever action for my collection . 4 regular 39’s one from the late 1940’s one from the 1950’s one from the 1960’s and my old 1980’s version I use for hunting. Three model 39a Mounties one from the late 1950’s (a true Mountie) a 1960’s and a 39m from the 1980’s. A 39 TDS. A 39 d and a 39 c plus the 39 AWLF. Picked up a rem model 76 Apache Black/chrome lever that my cousins kid found cleaning out an old house he bought. Not in great shape but it works well. A couple of bl-22’s both of them are the grade 2. The wife still wonders what I love about marlin lever guns. “ why do you have a dozen of the same thing” She went with me to the Ohio collectors show and now she understands when she saw the prices they are being sold for now. She ended up starting last year with a handgun class then a couple of personal one on one instruction periods. Had all the gun friends over to the uncles farm and she got to try out like 40 handguns. She ended up having me get her a couple she shot well. It turns out she shot the 5906 smith about as well as anyone in the group. I ended up buying her a 6906 and she likes that pistol well. She trained with my old Smith model 66 but she now carries a older colt detective special we got a good deal on. They ran a Christmas special at the Carmel Indiana range and we both got two more classes for Xmas. She is going to a ladies only class and a retention class. I am undecided on which ones I will take. That is most of the stuff I have been up to of late. I did get a few other marlins rifles. A nice buckmark “silly wet” pistol. And a couple nice buck deer in the time I have been away.

I have 6 one hundred dollar bills with a mossburg’s name on it. That's a really good offer for my Palomino, but there is no way I could sell it for any price. It was my grandfather's. We all went in together to get it for him for Christmas one year. Even then it had to be special ordered.
