My son & I finally got to go groundhog hunting yesterday. All the rains have stopped, the farmer had cut & bailed his hay, and most of the bails had been removed. We didn't see but one and couldn't get a shot at that one, but at least we can now see across the fields. It was a nice outing.

Well it's better than staying at home. Hopefully you'll get a few more chances before it gets too hot. We've been above 90 for almost 2 weeks here - way too hot for mid june.

It's been on the cool side here, thank goodness. Our favorite field is down near the James River, where there is always a cool breeze and we can set up in the shade, making it really pleasant. Even on those 90+ days, its really not bad and we hardly ever break into a sweat. Hope we can go this afternoon,
