Greeting to all, I think. I just wrestled with the sign in procedure for an hour and a half. If I was virgin before I sure as hell aren't now. Anyway it's good to be back in action. Hope everyone is none the worse for wear.

Good to see you too Cal. I have been offline for almost 2 months now and been using the motels computer when I can get time on it. But the good news is that I have now moved into my new house and am now a busted A$$ home owner again. There goes the buying of the guns for me for a while.
But I own over 40 now so what the heck do I need anymore for anyway. :-)

Don, we have come to the conclusion that Tom intentionally killed the site and intentionally ignored every type of communication from us within the last month. This site is better without him and we plan to move forward instead of backwards with the slow actions he had always shown.
Period.

Sebastian, It is not by anyone's choice here that we do not have the old Hunting Firearms site up and running still. We all would love to have had that option.
If you recall, there were two other outages back in April or May. At that time many of us questioned Tom about his desire to continue with the site. We offered him the chance to get out, and we could have kept the old site running. He wanted to keep it, but many of us saw problems with his lack of time spent, and his genuine disinterest in performing long overdue maintenance and upgrades to the site.
So the fact that, as it seems, he intentionally let the site go down, does not come as a surprise to many of us who were trying so desparately to save the old site. This attitude of the previous sites owner was masked from the membership with great hopes that the site could be upgraded and turned around, but this never happened. As a matter of fact, many requests to upgrade, add personell, and make improvements in general, were completely ignored.
So while I can understand your shock at Red's comments, please understand, Red, along with me and others, saw problems coming and tried in vain to get them fixed before the site crashed. It was everyones desire, except Bullseye apparently, to keep the old Hunting Firearms site alive and well forever. But sadly, it did not happen that way.
So, while we could still contact the majority of the members, and before the spirit of Hunting Firearms was gone forever, Red decided to start this new site. I offered to help him with the admin duties, and am very pleased that he is making this effort to rebuild, with the needed upgrades and improvements, the place we all grew to call home over the past several years.

I can not make comment for Bullseye, but i sure can make comment that Red, and You, and perhaps some others, are really great peoples!
*Ops, forgot to thanks to everyone that help me for the auction! JimH, DD, Donnie, Bubba, Stump, and so on... i can't remember one by one of you...lack of my capability to remember many things...

Hello everyone i and glad to see most of you seem to be well and happy. Well the site has been down I won a trophy for coming third in precision pistol. I never checked the scores because I fought nearly always time last
