Thumb trigger.
I found one with a cracked stock but metal is in good shape. I think it is a real steal of a price if I keep my poker face on. It also has a couple of holes in the cracked stock where screws were once installed maybe for a peep sight.
I bought a marlin 1984 357 from him and even with me wanting to keep it for myself it has the crossbolt safety so I am selling it to a friend at work for a 75 dollar profit. I have been looking for a pre safety 1894 c for a while. First one I have seen for sale locally so I bought it.
I don't know about the model 99 value as I have never seen one before and my cousin has my blue book and he is in floriida.
Can someone look up the prices. Other than the cracked stock (I think I can repair it and the screw holes it is about nra 70% on overall finish. 22 long. Not LR.
I put it right away when he showed it to me. But it has been in my mind since last night. I almost offered hm what I gave for the 1894cs since I had the cash one me. I might have made a mistake not getting it right off. I don't think he is thriled to have it but I think it is a little gem. he also has a weird winchester model 52 d wit a barrel made by someone he was looking to move.
I could use some values quick cause I would like to jump on it before he figures out that is is a weird non trigger collectable.

Can't help you with any value on it as i don't follow them any, BUT, if you pass on the 52 i sure wouldn't mind a crack at it if it is in my price range
