The 38 super 1911 I have been looking at is very tight. So tight that it sometimes fails to eject fully. Not something I want in a CC gun but man I love shooting that one, The old rem rand (although i rarely shoot it) has never failed to go bang or eject rounds (Ball ammo). I would not call the old rem rand accurate but the 38 super sure is.
That might have also been the reason the every H&K p7 I have shot was accurate. Fixed barrel locks up the same shot to shot and align the same with the sights shot to shot. Plus the polygonal rifling in the barrels.
The jackass/miami classic holsters have really gone up in price. I got the model 66 one used in a holster bin at a gun show for a nice price. And it was pre broken in. I bought my first one for the bren ten being a miami vice fan. I got one with a 45 ACP glock and sold those. I still want one for a smith 686 6 inch. I think a 6 inch smith does not cant sideway but straight down.

How are you on getting the trigger pull on double action down. That was what I was really looking at and if I have it right it is just a spring change. I don't know how it is yet as I haven't even seen the gun yet. The guy I talked to said the gun was like new except that it looked like it had been dropped at one time due to the fact it had a small ding on the front of the grip where it is checkered at. We will see. I might not even have to do anything to it. Only thing I know for sure is this. If it don't shoot well I probably won't keep it. I also found that Black Hawk makes a t-shirt with a pocket in the side for concealed carry. I think I am going to pick up one of those and see just how it works and if it works well I will get a couple more of them and when I make my trips I will use that. Might just work well.

That T shirt holster is a clever idea. Too bad they used the word 'tactical' in the description- that adds about 30$ to the price.

Looking through the Blackhawk catalog it seems just about everything they sell says Tactical. ;D Cabelas started handling it about a year ago and it does pretty well. Good stuff.
