Here's how to start your daay right, a coupple martini's before breakfast. I have a couple Martini's that I have been working on and had to sight them in at 07:30 AM before it got too hot. The first one is a rather rare Model8 BSA Martini hunting/target rifle with a #8 Rear sight and a front with flip up post and ring. This one has a 25" barrel and a mint bore and is drilled and tapped for an old time target scope, Like a Malcolm??? The other is my rifle for classic sillouette and is a 12/15 BSA Martini target rifle from the 1950's. Due to import duties these sold in 1950 for about twice what a M52 Winchester sold for and now since they can't have any guns in England we are getting them here for 1/2 what a M52 would cost. Go figure... Both guns will shoot better than I can hold but are ammo sensetive and bulk ammo shoots way bigger groups than match ammo. With Remington Match ammo the 12/15 will cut one ragged hole at 50 yards and into an inch or less at 100. The big thing here is my eyes and the sights. Attachments:

I now have another item to look for. I like the 12/15 BSA Martini target rifle.
Where do these show up. Lately all my finds are person to person contacts. I never see anything at the shops that has much age on it unless it is a high power non varmint cal rifle in Indiana where we can;t use them for much.
I go to all the gun shows the old stuff is mossburg us44's and other CMP stuff from times gone by.
I am looking for a good project gun. All i have been seeing is trashed out stevens favorites and winchester 190 series stuff. Nothing I am intrested in.

If you are looking for a project gun there is a M12 Martini on Gunbroker that has been hacked. I was looking at it for conversion to 218 Bee as I have a left over Ruger bull barrel in 223.
