Here is my buckmark "Sillywet"
I went to the range today and what a sweet little shooter. Off of a couple of boat cushions (poor mans sand bags) I could get all 10 rounds in a 2 inch shoot and see target at 50 yards. My mark II government model shoots nice but the sillywet outshoots it of the bench. The mark II still shoots ofhand better than the heavy barreled buckmark.
Anyway while there a guy with a hammerelli 208 come in and we of course switch pistols and give the other a try it was nice, I asked him about the grip and sights ect. He then asked about my trigger adjustment and if I had done the "Heggis Flip" on my trigger sear. I told him I had played with the adjustment for overtravel but did not know what a flip was. He went to his car and brought out a buckmark plus and said see what you think of this. The triger was sweet. A "Heggis flipped trigger job".
So I follow the guys instruction about where he found the mod on rimfire central. Here is a link to the photos below.

I am thinking of doing this flip as everyone who has done it without getting it either wrong or bending the spring is very pleased with the results. I read of a double taps and not reseting the trigger after firing but these guys had either removed sear metal or bent the spring somehow. Heck browning will send me out a replacement spring for free if I call them.
I guess because of mine being a target pistol it already has the overtravel adjustment and a better style spring for it anyway.
Who would have thought that installing a part backwards could bring a 5 pound pull down to a 2 pound pull.
Any comments before I make a PBR mistake, Or anyone else have a buckmark and need a cheap effective trigger job. The worst that can happen is to remove it and put it in the correct (heavy) way.. at most a new sear spring would run me a couple of bucks and shipping if not free.
