Was at walmart today and saw they had Winchester Supreme turkey shells on clearance. The 12ga prices were not that impressive but I noticed they had 20ga 3" #5's for $4.00
It was a no brainer - I bought 40 shells for $16. If I get a squirrel out at around 40 yards, I'm just going to slip one of those things in there. Now I get to carry dove loads, pheasant loads, and turkey loads when I go squirrel hunting.

I'm sure the turkey loads would work- probably be good on pheasants, too.

St. Peters / highway 94
They only had 4 boxes of the 20 If you like 12ga supremes, they had 3" (1 7/8oz I believe) for $6 and 3 1/2" 2oz for $8. They also similar Remington turkey loads for the same price. The prices are good but not spectacular considering a box of turkey shells should last 5 years. I think that's the only reason they are still on the shelves.
I might look at the other St. Charles one maybe tuesday.
Let me know if you want anything and the load specifics

Don't the 12 ga 3" normally go for around 12.00 a box? if they were 6's i wouldn't want them but if 5's i might have to pick up a couple.

I think the 3" were regular $10.97...maybe.
I'll look tuesday evening, if they have 5's expect a phone call around 6:00 or so
