I just traded a SIMMONS 22 MAG SCOPE (lnib) and a buck 393 12 point knife for a handgun scope.
I have beem in the market for a variable power handgun scope for a couple of years. I tried the burris and when the magnification levels of the scope changed so did the eye relief. It was a real pain and I got rid of it. the glass was a bit fisheyed also.
This one is mag rated up for 454 cascual and the eye relief stay constant at all levels. It has the rainguard sticker on it still and believe it or not the guy removed it in front of me from a ak rifle mounted in some weird forward mounted rail. It is an Extended eye relief scope and not a intermediate eye relief scope so no wonder he was not pleased with it.
I bought that simmons 22 mag sope many years ago for about 40-50 dollars (the box said 69.99 but I did not pay that) and the buck 393 12 point knife was a gift I was never going to use since I have about 20 fixed blade knives. I must admit if I was in the market for a fixed blade deer gutting knife it was a real nice one and American made. So I have about 50 dollars and 10 or so In gas to meet up for the deal.
So for under 70 dollars this one might just be the deal of the year for me. 299 at swfa.com

I think a set of Warne quick detachable rings are in my future as then I can switch it around on my contender barrels or even on my buckmark pistol.
That waisted time on the internet message boards paid of this time. I think when i get off work this morning at 1:30 am I will mount it on my 223 14 inch contender barrel and see if I can get it sighted in.
