need some input on a fair value on a Win 52 barreled action. I'm waiting to get some pics yet tonight but the price seemed more than fair, (around 200.00) but it all depends on condition. I have always wanted a 52B sporter

Jim the CMP have some actions and barreled actions a while back along with some model 52's. The rifles sold out before we could get up to them. I think they have a few model 52 actions stripped barrel and recievers were 200. no trigger group ect. Heavy barrels. www.odcmp.com/Sales/rifles.htm

I have a Sevens Favoret with a Winchester 52 barrel on it, I can tell it's a shooter but it has a worthless rear sight & I need to have T/M's do something about that. It was made in the 50's for off hand target shooting I think?

Aw now you would not expect him to give it back before he was sure it was right would you? I just don't think he would let anything out of the shop that was not up to snuff.

The longer the wait, the more up to snuff I know it already is. My last scope came in about 3 days, I think he ordered this on about 3 weeks ago LOL. I think that one hole it is to make is geting well tested. LOL. He din't tell me his plans for it? But I'm pretty shure he had one.

Well T/m's says as is it's not a one hole gun ......yet as it has a little ruff area just a head of the breach, I will use it a while before I decide what I may want to do about it or nothing at all??

I need to use this gun much more 1st but I will likely end up haveing T/M's re-line the barrel as it is a gun now that one want's it to shoot absolutly perfict & I know T/M's can do that for it. The 6x is a percision tool for shure maybe to good for the likes of my shooting lol as I would be better with the 3x or 1-1/2 no dought but it is cool to have such a gun for shure and I will leave it alone or make it even better with a new T/M's bore.
