A while back I "won" high bid on what was supposed to be a Encore barrel and scope. Well it was a Contender barrel w/ the coolest little handgun scope and mounts I ever seen. I sent it over to twomoons to take the scope off (I'm gonna put it on an Encore barrel) and put a iron sight on so I can sell it. I don't even know the brand name of the 2.5 power scope but it does work. I forgot to ask twomoons to take a picture of it to post but after he reads this and does a little research he can bring us all up to speed...

I showed it to a TC collector today and he had never seen one like it. The scope and mount were patented by J B Norman in 1982 and were designed for the TC Pistol. Manufactured by: THE HUTSON CORP ARLINGTON, TEXAS PATENT.NO.3,172,941
Current value approx $50

Very interesting the scope was produced from the 60's to the 80's but fell out of favor soon after the patent was granted. Hal Swiggett and Jeff Cooper both had guns with Hutson scopes mounted and thought highly of them but current optics technology made them obsolete. A cool collectors item for somebody.
