That looks good. I haven't had tree-rat pie in years. Congrats on the nice meal!!! Keep up the good work deleting more tree-rats from the earth's population. Three Gray's and a Fox is a good start!!!

Good job! Low brass, huh? I always keep a high brass in the barrel and a high brass & low brass between my fingers. If I have one in close and think I can save a few cents without getting caught, I'll make the swap. I went out Sunday afternoon with the 22 bolt. I ended up with 6...shot 14 times ;D ;D ;D

yea low brass, it's all i had. i did have to give the boy a bit of scolding though. we counted how many times he shot which was one more time than squirrels he came back with. i asked if he had missed and he says the first one wasn't dead when it hit the ground so he shot again. i told hime next time either stomp on it's head with his foot or use the butt of the stock (make sure he hadn't reloaded first) and wack the dang thing. but don't go wasting shells and ruining more meat! ;D

You can pick it up by the tail and quickly slam him into a tree...emphasis on quickly unless you want to get bit ;D
Sometimes you have to shoot them though!
