I know, I just bought a 4506 and need to take it up there and shoot it a bit to see if its any good. Its scheduled to got to the gun doc and get turned into a .45 Super sometime soon along with some other upgrades. Had a S&W 25-2 in .45 LC come in yesterday. Gun looks to be unfired. Just wish I could swing the bucks for that one. Thought about trading something but I am having a hard time parting with any more of my guns. Got rid of two many to get to the point I am at.

I had a whole collection of 700's come in this week but I took a 722! I got a 722 mint bore in 222 with a 700 BDL stock and floorplate and a 700 match trigger. The gun has a 2-7 Redfield Old Redfield scope and it still shoots under and inch at 100 long steps. I passed up a 700 22-250 varmit rig for this classic.
But Bill I thought the Remington's kicked the snot out of you?

The 222 IS a classic. I never saw a 222 that wouldn't shoot.

Its the Remington stock that kicks the snot out of you. ;D When this gun is done you will find very little Remington in it. Besides, right now, every one of my rifles are Remington.

It's a shame to see your colection go all to hell bill. Heck if you still have your .40 mussel loader I'm sure I can find a Remington to screw "I mean trade you out of it" lol.
