Along with my new 4506 that I picked up I was able to pick up another gun that I really wanted but the price has gone up way to much for me but I was offered this one so cheap I could not pass on it. I picked up a Remington 572 BDL that appears to have been used but in really nice shape with no dents or dings. It does have a patch of rust on the muzzle but with some what they call soft stainless steel pad's from Brownell's it should come off with no harm to the rest of the blueing. Even had a cheap 3/4" scope on it but that will come off and I will find a decent scope to put on it. This is the second gun that I have always wanted as its what I was raised with. The first one was a 512 Remington. I got that one in about 95% condition and now I have my 572 which is close to 90% condition. Now I just need to try it out and see how it shoots.

I am on my way to pick up a rem 511 with original peeps today. 150 dollars plus a good 30 in gas. Dad is buying it I just got to pick it up. Got to love it when someone inherates something and wants a quad rail for an AR. His good fortune is now our good fortune.
The 572 BDL is the great american pump rimfire. In the lines of the the rem model 37. The older ones have a real nice finish the new ones are much less attractive.
