Does anyone use one of these for action screws, ring mounts, forearm tension ect.
I have been looking at a couple for a year or so.
Utica TS-35
or a Sturtevant Richmont 36/4 adjustable torque screw driver (Roto-Torq)
I have a new set of hollow ground screwdriver bits I picked up with some reloading equipment and a brass hammer and a few brass and steel punches.

I use one of the Wheeler jobs at work for scope mounting but at home I have a Craftsman inch lb wrenches. Both of the ones that I have are break over torque wrenches and work very well but if I could of found one at that time I would of bough one of wrenches with the indicator bar that just torques up to the the amount and is more accurate. The break over can actually give you a bit more than you ask for. One thing you learn when using one of these is the fact that for years you have been tightening scope screws way too tight. Another thing you will learn if if your gun isn't shooting well you can actually tune it by adjusting the stock screws either tighter or looser.

I haven't used one, but I've been looking at them, too.

There is always Brownells. They are a bit pricey but I have never found the quality of their toolls lacking.

I always torque in action screws, but scope mounts screws just need to be tight and with a drop of nail polish o prevent loosening. Don't use locktite on these small screws because you MIGHT have to take them out some day.
