www.newsvine.com/_news/2011/01/25/5918680-utah-lawmakers-propose-m1911-as-official-state-gunOK utah can have the 1911. We mainly live in varied states SO: What would your state's gun be? If you have an state gun maybe all households/property tax payers would be required to have one. Since I go first I aill have to call out the 870 rem for Indiana's state gun. I think there are more of these in Indiana than many states that have larger land masses. We hunt rabbits, tree rats, fox, ducks, geese, coyotes, groundhogs, turkeys and deer. No attchment just a no frills shotgun. One forty plot, a Guvment mule and an 870.

Since Remington has always been a NY state based company, I suppose it would be a Remmy something. . .

Well since Iowa is limited to a short Handgun season for Deer. And our hunting is mostly small game. I think a Contender with 45/410 barrel and a .22 barrel (30-30 barrel optional) would pretty well cover it.
