Boy do I have a sweetie in the shop now. An original Hudson Bay double percussion trade gun in 20 bore. The barrels were pretty rough and uneven but they are now smooth even to withn .001 and smooth as a baby's behind! Boy is this going to be a sweet rabbit and squirrel gun now that the bores will clean easy and it will probably pattern 100% better.
I'll bet if I could ever get ahold of Bounce on the phone he would be interested... after 3 years!!!!!

Nice!! now all a suden like for Christmas I shall Have Two 20 ga. trade guns, Both originals as one is Hudson Bay the other is Oriiginal T/M's and just as sweet.
The one T/M's just finished for me is just like a gun Kit Carson owned only Kit's had English barrels and mine were made in belgim, sweet sweet sweet.
Well I got my Gun home and T/M's did a perfict job on smoothing out the barrels. If I could only own only one gun this would be the one you would find me with as it does it all and patterned with both shot & ball great with a ruff bore in both barrels so restored to new will be fantastic, also for ball the barrels are nicely regulated at 50 yds, One is perfict and one is to the left 4 inches of the perfict one. Wonder if anything has changed?
