Jabba:
Stop by the North Carolina Outer Banks (just south of Nags Head on Hatteras Island) on your way back. This is the time of year for catching big bluefish in the surf. I keep saying that I am going to take off a week and fish there every year but haven't gotten around to it as yet. I guess it gives me something to look forward to.

I am already home. I have fun catching blue fish... but they SUCK to eat. I mean they are OK when they are fresh... but not GREAT and forget freezing them.
I used to fish for them off of head boats a lot when I was younger.
Is the blue fish fishery rebounded? Last I heard it was pretty depressed.
