Last weekend the boat stayed home. Our bass club had its open tournament and I measured all the fish Saturday. Sunday it was off to help at a benefit for my 31 year old niece who has colon cancer.
This weekend it is off fishing again about 2 hours away on Lake Puckaway. The water level is down in the lake but the river should be fine. Next weekend it is the location of our 2nd bass club tourney. It is supposed to be on an off rain but that is what we have rain gear and a bilge pump to deal with.
21 more days and Canada here I come!!

Sounds like some good fishing, Bullseye! I will say a prayer for your niece.

Thanks Jack for the prayer.
Had a great weekend. I wish I would have caught more bass but the northern bite was on and we caught a lot of them. We usually catch a doggie or 2 on Puckaway. We had one on but he got off.
This coming weekend it is back for the club tournament on the same water. Supposed to be warm and windy. I am guessing I am going to run up river about 4 miles and work my way back down. No one else in the club knows how to run it so I should be all by myself unless someone chooses to follow me. If they do I wish them good luck. I run it at about 30-35 and if you get 10' off my bubble trail they will find the nasties. Hope the catching is good.
