My first with the new rifle. I find that it's lighter weight is easier to handle and easier to keep on target. I got this one at about 40 yards with those Federal rounds I got cheap. There's 3 more little ones and the female in this hole. About 100 yards away is another hole with one big, ole male... I'll get him if I can get a little closer.

Evil rodent killed with evil black rifle. I think it is cool. What is the weight on that rifle?

Weight is a little over 7 pounds because of the heavier barrel. I've ordered the telescoping stock which will take another pound or so off the total weight. It's a dern side lighter than my 10-22 with the bull barrel.

7 pounds is a nice weight, Not to light or to heavy, I think my 39a is about 7 pounds. The light weight one is my bl-22 It feels half the weight of the 39a.
