just got back from a outing with my son. we shot 100 rnds ea, 10 shots at ea station, 10 stations (don't know if all courses are the same ) and had a great time despite mid 40's temps this morning and a light drizzle the whole time. it was humbling to say the least but sure was fun out there. my son used the Berreta and i shot the Franchi. we'll be doing it again soon and i'll get the older lard ass out this time to join us.

Man I sure hope your wife doesn't read this??? I would like to do that but any more about a box of shells is my limit at one session. My right shoulder is getting so bad I have a hard time sighing in a HP rifle if it takes more than 10 or 12 shots. How did yo do on the rabbit, that was always my worst shot.

He didn't want to make you nervous Twomoons.
I only had one sporting clay round. I shot with Bill when he was in Kansas. He beat me by a couple but I think I would have done better if the over/under he had me using wasn't choked extra full..............ON BOTH BARRELS!!!!

I prefer UNsporting clays, I shoot the box! Sort of like the fellow who was braggin about breaking a hundred straight. We said he couln't break a hundred shooting the box they came in. Well he trie it and believe it or not he only got 87!
When I worke at Skagway one of our truck drivers rolled his truck load of clay birds. He broke 87500. He told us later he woul have gotten more but he flinched on the second roll!
