Turkey season is slipping up rather quickly. How many of you plan on hunting for Ben Franklin's proposed "national bird" ?

I've been thinking about turkey season, too, D-D. I been thinking I need a new turkey vest. . .

I didn't go at all last on account of an ear infection / dizziness. I guess we'll see how my hand is this year. Two weeks later, I was at the chiropracter today for my neck/headaches/dizziness when we talked about my hand a little bit. They ran a tuning fork on different areas and when it hit that one spot I about jumped out of the chair That's an indication of a break so I'm going to have to get another xray done early this week. I'm not sure if I'm going to be ready to go on April 19th or not.

I'm planning on going. I hope I still have my favorite place at least until the end of this season. It's slated to become another yuppie, PC state park that we really need so desparately.

The numbers are down but still plenty of birds in Western South Dakota and will be out there making a fool out of myself again this year.
